ABOUT THE MEN'S ROSARY CRUSADE

"Amongst all the devotions approved by the Church, none has been so favoured by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary."

St. Alphonsus Liguori

THE GLOBAL MEN'S ROSARY CRUSADE

Global Men's Rosary Crusade

The Global Men’s Rosary Crusade is a contemporary Catholic lay movement that calls men across the world to publicly gather and pray the Rosary together for the conversion of their nations, the sanctification of families, and the defence of Our Lady of the Catholic faith.

The movement began in Poland around 2018, with public Rosary processions specifically calling men to pray boldly and visibly in city squares.

Inspired by traditional Catholic devotions, the movement quickly spread to other countries—particularly across Europe and Latin America—and is now gaining momentum in Australia.

THE ADELAIDE MEN'S ROSARY CRUSADE

The Adelaide Men’s Rosary Crusade began in August 2023, when a small group of young men gathered to publicly pray the Rosary on the lawns of St Francis Xavier’s Catholic Cathedral. As the crusade gained momentum, the gathering moved to Mary MacKillop Plaza—in the square on the other side of the Cathedral—offering a more visible and public witness to the faith.

The group of dedicated and faithful men of Adelaide, continue to  gather publicly on the First Saturday of each month to offer reparation to God, in honour of Our Lady of Fatima and her requests.

In 1930, Our Lord revealed to Sister Lucia five specific offences and blasphemies against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for which He asks us to make reparation through the First Saturday Devotion:

  • Blasphemies against her Immaculate Conception

  • Blasphemies against her Perpetual Virginity

  • Blasphemies against her Divine Maternity, while refusing at the same time to acknowledge her as the Mother of all mankind

  • The efforts of those who implant in children's hearts indifference, contempt, or even hatred for our Immaculate Mother

  • The offences of those who outrage her directly in her holy images

To faithfully complete the First Saturday Devotion, one must, on five consecutive First Saturdays, go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, and recite the Rosary—meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary for at least 15 minutes—with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the offences committed against her.
